"Emma helped us to achieve our dream house"

"Her personal service she offers makes her very easy to work with. We used a full architectural service from her and found that was right for us as Emma helped with everything right through the planning and building stages, very professional at all times."

"I would not hesitate to recommend Emma"

The renovations to the main farmhouse were sympathetic to the age and character of the building but brought up to date with all the modern comforts of home.

Emma was very professional and approachable. She was there to help throughout the build with advice and support."

"Emma worked with me to extend and improve a very run down Grade 2 listed cob farmhouse.  Her designs were exactly what was needed to bring the tired old building back to life.

The beautiful traditional Oak Frame extension she designed was built by Carpenter Oak and is a fantastic light, modern living space.

"Emma was very personable and easy to work with"

Emma Heaver was the architect who helped us convert an old dilapidated (Grade-II listed) barn into three high quality holiday cottages.

We provided a brief of what features we hoped to include and Emma turned our ideas and thoughts into a practical and workable design.

Emma was very personable and easy to work with; she always listened to our ideas and thoughts, and offered sound advice on what was feasible and cost-effective.

After the initial design phase, Emma steered us through the Planning Process then helped us to select a building contractor with the right skills and experience.

She handled much of the day-to-day project management during the building phase.

As the build, progressed, she also provided lots of good advice on fixtures and fittings, everything from lighting to door-handles, flooring to paint shades.

Emma also demonstrated an ability to work in a timely manner, whether modifying drawings to assist the builders or simply writing up minutes for our monthly project meetings.

We are extremely pleased with the end results, and I receive many comments from my holiday guests praising the quality and design of the cottages and surrounding landscaping.

"You will not be disappointed engaging Emma; in fact, you will be delighted"

In working on our project, we have found Emma to be very approachable. She makes herself readily available, takes client wishes on board while at the same time making relevant and useful suggestions.

In getting the project plans ready to submit for building permission, she worked well with other professionals such as the local listings officer and a bat expert, integrating their comments into the plans.

When we were looking for an architect for our barn conversion project, we wanted someone who would be sympathetic to the project, show vision, creativity and a pragmatic desire to get things done.

Emma’s website offers an excellent overview of what she can offer and clearly sets out what one needs to know in a logical, friendly way.

"We would unhesitatingly recommend EMMA as an architect"

The designs she produced really reflected what we wanted...and more, they were innovative and practical as well as aesthetically really pleasing. Costs and pricing were very reasonable and most importantly clear and understandable.

We would unhesitatingly recommend her as an architect

Emma Heaver was the architect for a significant project to rebuild a large section of our home. We found Emma to be very responsive to our needs and our ideas...even when they were really not the most practical!

Emma made the whole project run smoothly and reduced the level of stress such disruption inevitably causes.
